A TOWN centre beggar who was charged with a breach of a criminal behaviour order was sentenced to one day’s detention in the courthouse.
Matthew Spencer, 38, of Doncaster Road, was charged with his third breach of the CBO last Wednesday for persistently begging in the town centre.
He appeared at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court last Thursday.
Spencer pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one day’s detention in the courthouse.
